Samsung Galaxy Note 20 To Come With Larger Battery Leak Suggests

The battery of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 20 could have a significantly higher capacity than the Note 10. The smartphone should be able to keep up with the Galaxy S20. Despite the higher performance, the device should achieve a similar runtime.

According to the leak emerged on social media. The battery of the Galaxy Note 20 should be assigned the model number EB-BN980ABY. However, no details have been leaked about the battery of the Plus version. The Note 20 Plus should be based on the S20 Plus or the S20 Ultra and therefore be equipped with even more battery capacity. A size of 4500mAh or 5000mAh is considered likely.

Standard Variant 4000mAh Battery

The battery of the standard version should have a nominal capacity of 3880 mAh. In the datasheet, this should correspond to an indication of 4000mAh. The battery capacity of the upcoming Galaxy Note 20 and the already available Galaxy S20 would be identical.

So far, there is little information about the Galaxy Note 20. According to previous rumors, the display of the Plus model could be more than seven inches in size, so that the smartphone should already be a small tablet. The panel is said to offer a refresh rate of 120 Hertz. It would be possible for Samsung to install a Snapdragon 865 + SoC and eUFS 3.1 memory in the Galaxy Note 20 (Plus). In addition, the S Pen could also be upgraded and thus get new functions.

The Galaxy Note 20 (Plus) is scheduled to be launched in August 2020. Although the development of the device is still going according to plan, it would be conceivable that the release could be delayed by a few weeks or even months due to the corona crisis.
