Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Should Come Earlier Than Expected

Galaxy S21 FE 5G

The Fan Edition of the Samsung Galaxy S21 could be launched a little earlier than expected. According to a new leak, the smartphone will be presented in early September. Due to delivery problems, the start of production was postponed beforehand.

The leaker “Mauri QHD” writes that he found out a release date for the Galaxy S21 FE from a reliable source. According to the information, the smartphone will see the light of day on September 8th. If the leak turns out to be true, the cheaper version of the Samsung flagship will hit the market much earlier than assumed a few weeks ago. Originally, the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition could have been presented together with the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3.

However, delays in the supply chain then occurred. The required chips could not be delivered, so production did not start until later. Samsung is said to have even considered installing an Exynos processor instead of a Snapdragon SoC in certain regions.

Appeared in the Play Console

Since the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition recently appeared in an entry in the Google Play Console, it is quite possible that the device will be announced in the coming week. So far, Samsung has not yet commented on a launch event, so it remains to be seen whether the smartphone will actually appear in September.

The Galaxy S21 FE is said to have a Snapdragon 888 processor supported by eight gigabytes of RAM. The smartphone is equipped with 128 or 256 gigabytes of memory and has a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen. The display dissolves in FHD + and offers a refresh rate of up to 120 Hertz. The battery is 4500 mAh and can be charged with a 25-watt power adapter. Two twelve-megapixel sensors and an eight-megapixel lens are built into the camera module.
