Samsung Galaxy S26 comes with 128 GB of storage

With the Galaxy S26, Samsung has actually given up the entry-level version with only 128 GB of internal flash memory – it was thought. Now it is clear: this option will continue to be offered, at least for corporate customers, in times of storage crisis. The advantage: the significantly lower price.

Enterprise Edition also available with 128 GB

The standard version of the Samsung Galaxy S26 with 256 gigabytes of internal flash memory costs at least 999 euros in Germany. This means that the starting price has risen significantly compared to the previous model, which is not only due to the significantly higher storage costs, but also because Samsung is abandoning the basic version with 128 GB that was still available until the S25.

However, this only applies to the private customer market. As can be seen from various dealer listings, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Enterprise Edition is currently coming onto the market in Europe and therefore also in Germany in a version equipped with only 128 GB of internal flash memory.

Price probably under 850 euros

The British dealer LambdaTek For example, the model with the Samsung internal model number SM-S942BZKDEEB is already listed and gives a price of around 840 euros including VAT. This means that the model, which has been downgraded in terms of flash memory, undercuts the official RRP of the regular 256 GB version by more than 150 euros.

Apart from the smaller flash memory, the only difference between the 128 GB Enterprise Edition is the ability to officially use certain functions for corporate customers. This version of the device also has 12 gigabytes of RAM and the Exynos 2600 under the hood, which Samsung combines with a 6.3-inch SuperAMOLED panel, powerful cameras and a 4300 mAh battery.

Enterprise version also available for private customers

According to Samsung’s positioning, it is officially an “Enterprise Edition” for business customers, but private customers can probably also purchase the device as normal from various German providers in German stores. This was often the case with previous Enterprise editions. It could still take a while, because apparently individual sales partners have secured the probably still very small quantities of the Galax S26 in the Enterprise Edition with 128 GB.

In Great Britain, for example, the company Onecom advertises that it is the exclusive supplier for the model. In this country it lists German offshoot of the Danish retailer Proshop the Enterprise edition with 128 GB does too. Given that, according to the WinFuture price comparison, the 256 GB version of the Galaxy S26 is already available at prices starting at around 780 euros, it seems that you don’t even necessarily have to go for the business version with half the memory if Samsung’s official RRP seems too high for the customer.
