Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro Leak Reveals Bigger Battery, Slightly Larger Display

S26 Pro probably replaces the standard model
It was recently announced that Samsung is planning a radical model change for the upcoming S26 series. So the standard S26 will probably disappear from the market and replaced by the S26 Pro. Silicon-carbon batteries are left out
Despite the increase in capacity, Samsung could remain with his conventional lithium-ion battery technology. While competitors such as OnePlus already use silicon carbon batteries with significantly higher capacities, Samsung is currently still shy away from using this technology. Due to their higher energy density, silicon-carbon batteries enable up to 20 percent more capacity with the same space requirement. What makes the Pro model special?
The name “Pro” for the successor model of the Standard S25 is currently about questions based on this first information. The battery of the S26 Pro becomes slightly larger compared to the S25 and the display grows minimally. It remains to be seen which features could justify the “Pro” in the name. But it is still too early for a judgment. After all, the S26 Pro could score with a higher resolution or faster charging. Improved camera features, additional AI functions or premium materials would also be conceivable.
