Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Specs Leak: Minor Tweaks, Major Expectations

A large leak on supposed specifications of the Galaxy S26 Ultra indicates that Samsung does not plan a revolution with the successor of his current top smartphone. Rather, the Koreans are working on another evolution of their flagship.
Leak reveals new details about the Galaxy S26 Ultra
The current Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has just been on the market since February 2025, when the first detailed information about the successor model is already opening. So far, there have been primarily indications of a battery upgrade and a new 200 megapixel zoom. A large leak now reveals further technical details about the upcoming Galaxy smartphone.
The information indicates that Samsung with the S26 Ultra is planning a solid development, but is not planning a real revolution. The well -known leaker PandaflashPro has on X (via Android headlines) Published extensive specifications for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. These first insights show a smartphone that offers improvements in many areas without fundamentally changing the proven concept.
Optimization with display and design
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is allegedly received the same 6.9-inch display as its predecessor. However, users can look forward to even narrower display edges, which would further improve the ratio of screen to housing. An interesting innovation could be the so-called COE technology (color filter-on-topic film scapsulation), which Samsung has so far only used in its folding cell phones. This technology replaces the polarization layer with a color filter, which could lead to a thinner, lighter and more energy -efficient display. However, little will change in the basic design of the smartphone. However, in contrast to the current model, the Galaxy S26 Ultra should receive an integrated magnetic Qi2 ring. This would make the use of special covers for wireless charging superfluous. The camera rings, which can still be seen in the S25 Ultra, should disappear to the successor, which should contribute to a more elegant appearance. This change could also lead to a thinner overall design.
More performance and memory
Under the hood, the S26 Ultra is driven by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2, which is to be used in all markets. After the cancellation of the 2-nanometer chip from its own Samsung production, it is almost certain that the 3-nanometer snapdragon manufactured by TSMC is used, possibly with an exclusive “For Galaxy” overclocking. To ensure sufficient cooling, the smartphone should be equipped with a steam chamber cooling system that is up to 1.2 times larger than that of the S25 Ultra.
This could significantly reduce the temperatures, which leads to better continuous performance and possibly improved battery life. According to the Leaker, users can look forward to generous equipment in the storage options. Because all storage variants (256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB) are said to have installed 16 GB RAM. That would be an improvement compared to the current model, in which only the variants with a larger memory are equipped with 16 GB RAM.
Light camera upgrade
The camera equipment of the Galaxy S26 Ultra will probably experience a gentle but noticeable upgrade. Samsung has no longer upgraded the 3x zoom telecamera since the Galaxy S21 Ultra, but the new leaks indicate that an upgrade is imminent. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to use a 12-megapixel sensor for its telekamera with a triple optical zoom. That would be an improvement compared to the 10 megapixel camera that is used in Samsung’s current flagships. The Galaxy S26 Ultra should also have an improved front camera, but the specifications of which have not yet been unveiled. The primary 200 megapixel camera should receive a newer lens and use a new laser autofocus sensor for faster and more reliable focus.
Battery and connectivity
Contrary to previous rumors, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will capture the same 5,000 mAh battery as the Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, reports indicate an improvement in the energy density. With the same capacity, the battery should be somewhat smaller than that of the previous model. This could clear space for other improvements internally. All modern standards are probably supported in connectivity: Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth and possibly even satellite communication for emergencies. Qi2-cobbles will work thanks to the integrated magnetic ring without special accessories.
Another long way
As always, caution is advised with leaks and rumors. It also takes many months before the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra comes onto the market. Even if the information shared here is correct here, Samsung can still make changes until the publication. It is not yet certain of the equipment with the upcoming flagship smartphone of the Koreans.
