Samsung’s Galaxy S8 is expected to roll out by the end of March, but details continue to leak from various sources until it shows up in the event.
Rumors have been around for a while on the design of Galaxy S8, which give ups buttons and prioritized drastically reduced bezels, this Smartphone may not be much bigger than the Galaxy Note 7, which came in 5.7-inch display size. Earlier leaked photos of the device support the idea that Galaxy S8 will pack an edge-to-edge display that allows for a dramatic increase in screen real estate while having a compact form.
So far so good but it’s not clear exactly how the S8+ will be different from the standard S8. Prior leaks suggested that the standard model will come with just a 5.7 inch display, while both could carry a Snapdragon 835 processor, a 12-mp back camera, and 8-mp front camera. The spec sheet (rumored) indicates that the S8+ will have rounded corners on the display, an iris scanner for fingerprint biometric authentication though, 64GB of internal storage, 4GB of RAM, dust and water-resistant features.
