Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus Are Likely To Get Screen Cracks

According to Tests run by SquareTrade, latest Samsung phones Galaxy S8 and S8 plus are prone to screen cracking.

New Samsung phones are wrapped around with lot of glass, which appears to be broken easily, Square trade has tested this issue, the company sells gadgets repair plans.

“All-glass design of Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 plus looks more beautiful but extremely vulnerable to get cracks on screen when dropped from any angle” the company said.

However, Samsung made no comments on the issue.

Although, many other companies and individuals gave positive comments about Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 plus. Samsung Galaxy S8 also had 30% more preorders than Samsung Galaxy S7 however, the company didn’t reveal exact figures.

SquareTrade concluded the test and said on Monday, “Cracks appeared on Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 plus when they were dropped on the footpath from six feet height, the phone had same results when dropped on their face-down, backs or sides.

However, both models S8 and S8 plus did really well when dropped into water, the phones came up with some problem like audio distortion, but that disappears overtime, S8 also came with water resistant feature that are remarkable.

Battery was not the subject of test, which created immense problems in its predecessor Samsung Galazy Note 7 and led to its recall.
