Samsung is prepping for the new Galaxy Tab A8. The tablet has started appearing on certification sites. Just recently, it landed on a platform where it received its Wi-Fi certification. So we are hoping to get this tablet soon.
This Samsung tablet recently landed on Wi-Fi Alliance with model number SM-X205. The listing confirmed that this tablet will support 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi.
The same device has also landed on the Geekbench listing site where we extracted more useful information. The Galaxy Tab A8 appeared on Geekbench with the same model number. It will feature a Unisoc T618 chip with an octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz and up to 4GB of RAM. These features clearly state that it would be a budget-friendly tablet. The device will run Android 11 out of the box.
In other rumors, we heard that this tablet will sport a 10.5-inch TFT display with a WUXGA resolution of 1920×1200 pixels, a 60Hz refresh rate panel, and slightly thicker bezels around the display.
We also heard that there will be a single 8MP camera sensor without an LED flash at the rear and a single 5MP front camera sensor. This table is likely to pack a 7,040 mAh battery. The tablet will be available in three color options – Silver, Gold, and Grey.
We don’t have a release date or other details but are certain to get them soon.
