Samsung has announced its next higher-end flagship product – the Galaxy W22 5G. This device will come out at the Hangzhou Grand Theater at 19:00 on October 13. This smartphone is the ultra-high-end custom flagship “Heart of the World” series created by Samsung and China Telecom.
The Galaxy W22 5G is the successor of the Galaxy W21 5G that came out for 19,999 yuan ($3,104). According to the reports, this device would be more expensive than the Z foldable phones and would go beyond 2,000 yuan ($3,104). Some even suggested that its price could be 50% higher than the current Z foldable phones.
With a higher price, we also expect to see this W22 5G with better specifications. As of now, we heard this smartphone will feature a 7.6-inch foldable design and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
The Galaxy W21 5G came out in 2020 with a 7.3-inch AMOLED main display and a 6.23-inch HD+ Super AMOLED cover display, an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, and a 4500mAh battery with 25W wired and 11W wireless charging.
Though we have the release date for the W22 5G, we are short with information about its specifications. But it’s now a matter of 2 days to get to know all about this handset.
