Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 is now official

The successor to the Galaxy XCover 6 has finally arrived. It is a rugged smartphone that is capable of working in rough conditions. The new Galaxy XCover 7 by Samsung comes with 5G wireless network connectivity. Furthermore, it has large storage options that will lead to improved performance.

Better performance, an improved primary camera configuration, a larger screen, and sharper resolution are all features of the Samsung Galaxy XCover 7. The device is certified for IP68 water resistance and MIL-STD-810H ratings. The display of the device is protected with Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. Interestingly, the Galaxy XCover 7 has a replaceable battery. In simple words, users can easily change it when required.

The Galaxy XCover 7 features a 6.6-inch FHD+ TFT display with a refresh rate of 60Hz. The touch sensitivity of the smartphone is greatly improved. The phone can even be operated while wearing gloves. According to the company, the smartphone is powered by a 6nm octa-core chip. We assume that it could be the Dimensity 6100+. The chipset is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 1TB with the help of a microSD slot.

Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 features a 50MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. it has a customizable XCover key, Dolby Atmos, and barcode scanner functionality via Knox Capture. It packs a 4,050mAh replaceable battery. The smartphone weighs 240g. Some other connectivity features include POGO pins, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. From the software end, the smartphone will run on Android 14 and One UI 6 out of the box.
