Samsung is always busy. I don’t remember a day that goes without a news piece from the company. And today, I read from a source that the company is gearing up to launch a bunch of new smartphones during the next few months. And do remember that smartphones are not just the thing company manufactures. Anyways we appreciate the company’s efforts and hope it continues to grow.
Coming to the news, I recently heard that the company is gearing up to introduce a standard 4G smartphone dubbed Galaxy M22. This Samsung smartphone is expected to be a sequel for the last year’s Galaxy M21. I also heard that this new device was recently spotted on GeekBench. So let’s review what we gathered.
According to online sources, the new phone will come with model number SM-M225FV. The device is powered by the cost-effective Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. This chipset runs with two ARM Cortex-A75 cores clocked at up to 2.0GHz and six power-efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 1.8GHz and is quite powerful. It can run games and other apps with no stress at all. The Geekbench also stated that the device will have (at least) 4GB RAM and will run Android 11 OS out of the box, topped with One UI 3.1 on top.
One more source told that the Galaxy M22 will pack a 6.4-inch SuperAMOLED display with a U-shaped notch cutout. On the rear side, we will have a 48MP primary camera. The device will also have a massive 6000mAh battery.
Lastly, I also learned that this Galaxy M22 will come in Black, Blue, and White colorways, come to Europe in June (probably), and carry a price tag of €230.
