Samsung is now rolling out the July 2021 security patch to the Galaxy S20 series and the Galaxy Note 10 series. The company also rolled out this update to its Galaxy Fold smartphone.
The Galaxy S20 smartphone receiving this security patch includes the Galaxy S20, S20+, and the S20 Ultra. The update comes with the firmware version G98xFXXU8DUF9 and G98xBXXU8DUF9.
The update for the Galaxy S20 series also fixes some Android Auto-related issues. The update, as of now, is limited to Germany only.
As for the Galaxy Note 10 series, the devices getting this July security patch to come for the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ and offer a much wider release, i.e., it’s coming for some European and Middle East countries.
As always, the update will reach out in phases. So if you have not received this latest security patch, you might want to head towards the Download section in the settings app to manually download and install this update.
