Samsung is Now Rolling Out the July 2021 Security Update to the Unlocked Galaxy S10 Series
Samsung is rolling out the latest software update to the unlocked Galaxy S10 series.
Samsung has already rolled out the July 2021 security update to the Galaxy S10 series. However, unlocked devices of the series were left unattended. For those having the unlocked models of the Galaxy S10, Samsung is now rolling out the July 2021 security update.
The Galaxy S10 series were the lucky ones to get July 2021 in the last week of June. The unlocked versions were not so lucky then.
According to the source, Samsung has already released the latest security update to the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+. The rollout is for the limited market as of now, i.e., the USA.
According to more details, the latest software update comes with firmware version G97xU1UES5GUF2, fixes more than 20 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities. We also believe that this software update would fix the Android Auto bug.
If you’re a proud owner of the unlocked version of the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, or the Galaxy S10+ in the US, you may head towards your device’s Settings > Software update > Download and install to get the update.
This July software update is currently available on Bluegrass Cellular, Comcast, Nextech/C-spire, and Xfinity Mobile’s network.
