Samsung may release a more compact Galaxy S Ultra phone to compete with the iPhone Pro

The South Korean conglomerate Samsung is quite close to launching its flagship Galaxy S24 series. Until now, we have heard a lot about the new series via various leaks and rumors. Interestingly, there are some other rumors that are relevant to products that might debut in a few years going forward. One such rumor points out that in the future, Samsung might introduce a mini Galaxy S Ultra to combat the iPhone Pro.

A future Samsung phone might be a competition to iPhone Pro models

This information comes from the tipster @Tech_Reve. He claims that the company might introduce a product smaller than the Galaxy S Ultra but with the same features and specifications. Combining improved specifications with a more compact design may enable Samsung to rival Apple’s iPhone Pro lineup, which includes the 6.1-inch iPhone 15 Pro. The resulting product might land in the Galaxy FE catalog. Well, this is somewhat confusing since an FE product doesn’t feature high-end specs and features, particularly when it comes to cameras. However, the report from South Korea claims that nothing is final yet and that things might change with time.

In addition to this, there is a possibility that, following the release of the Galaxy S25 series, the company might change the design language of its smartphones. This implies that Samsung phones may have a very different design, starting with the Galaxy S26. Additionally, the South Korean company may reduce the number of Galaxy A phones it releases by condensing its Galaxy A line.

A less expensive Galaxy Z Fold phone might not even have a cover screen

Furthermore, some reports claim that the company is working on an affordable Galaxy Z Fold phone. According to the rumor, the company is working on two different prototypes. One prototype lacks an external screen, whereas the other has a small cover display. The company might debut this smartphone after the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Samsung may decide not to release any more Galaxy Z Flip series phones after the release of this device. Considering how well-selling Galaxy Z Flip phones are worldwide, this seems improbable.
