Samsung Pass’s UPI Wallet now accepts RuPay credit cards

Samsung is bringing enhancements and updates for its wallet app. Along with security updates, Samsung has also recently introduced a new card option in the app. With the latest update, Samsung has announced that RuPay credit cards can now be used to make mobile payments over UPI for Galaxy smartphone owners in India who have the Samsung Pass function. All cellphones that have mobile payment capabilities can now use this feature.

In India, Samsung Pay (Samsung Pass) now accepts UPI for credit cards that are linked to RuPay

Indian customers of Samsung Pass now have the option to link their RuPay credit cards to Samsung Wallet UPI. It indicates that they can use their RuPay credit card to make UPI payments. RuPay credit cards are the only ones that accept UPI payments; MasterCard and VISA credit cards do not. For people who wish to use their credit card to make mobile payments, this is a fantastic alternative.

Samsung Pass is the new name for Samsung Pay. Beyond credit and debit cards, Samsung Pass in India allows bank account linkage via the UPI interface. With UPI (Unified Payments Interface), mobile payments are made using QR codes and either a four- or six-digit passcode. The user’s registered mobile phone number is used to link the accounts.

In India, Samsung Pass additionally facilitates the storing of digital copies of official papers and ID cards, like driver’s licenses. In addition, it allows the addition of membership and loyalty cards, tickets, boarding passes, online login credentials, and much more.
