Samsung plans to deliver Android 14 even faster than Android 13

When it comes to new updates and features, Samsung is the biggest game player in the industry. Samsung very well knows how to manage the updates. As of now the smartphones and tablets by Samsung are among the first few devices that have received Android 13. Not even the Pixel phone by Google has received this update yet.

It appears that the South Korean smartphone manufacturer has no objective of resting on its achievements. It now aims to enter into the combat of one-upmanship, particularly with itself. As of now, the company has announced that it will introduce the Android 14 updates by next year. It is way quicker compared to the delivery of Android 13 as well as the highly customized One UI 5 to Samsung users around the globe.

The rollout of One UI 5 by Samsung beat Google for supporting Unicode 15 emoji. Recently the updates arrived on the Galaxy A52. This was followed just a few days after the Galaxy S22 series received the updates. As per 9to5Google, the company has claimed that Galaxy A32 and Tab S7 are going to receive the updates by the end of this year.

As per Samsung, the plan is to beat itself in the competition and deliver updates for Android 14 even earlier in 2023. As of now, we are unaware of the details of how this whole process will be carried out. But some reports suggest that Samsung will work in close association with Google to benefit from the user feedback. Thus, accomplishing the target with (what could be) One UI 6.

Though the company touts a little about how fast its team worked out One UI 5 after Google released Android 13. It is definitely much quicker than other Android OEMs and even the previous software updates by Samsung.

Undoubtedly, this timely move speaks a lot about Samsung’s commitment to keeping its devices updated at every end. Even if we don’t notice the Android 14 updates by early 2023, we shouldn’t be disappointed after so many efforts by the company.
