Samsung promised to fix Galaxy S24’s camera shortcomings with software upgrades

Samsung’s latest flagship phones provide numerous quality-of-life enhancements, including brighter screens, harder chassis, faster performance, improved cameras, and longer battery life. However, there are a few small camera flaws with the Galaxy S24 series, which will most likely be fixed with software upgrades.

Future upgrades to improve the Galaxy S24 camera quality and optimization

When a Galaxy S24 customer complained about the camera quality on Samsung’s official forum, the forum moderator in charge of camera-related updates stated that Samsung is always working to improve the camera and soliciting feedback from consumers via multiple channels.

They added that they will improve the camera performance with future software updates and revealed that Samsung is concentrating on increasing the color accuracy and three-dimensional impact with latest Galaxy S23 series as compared to previous Galaxy S series.

According to user reviews on the internet, the Galaxy S24 series appears to have improved over the Galaxy S23, but there are some issues with noise and banding in the sky in low-light conditions, slight overexposure in daylight conditions, and lower dynamic range around certain light sources in low-light conditions. There appear to be some issues with details gathered from specific textures.

While Samsung has not specified when it will release a new software update to address those concerns, we can expect the first few releases to include camera-related improvements. At least, this is what Samsung’s track record shows. Samsung has increased the speed of camera capture and processing compared to the Galaxy S23 series.
