Samsung Rolls Out October 2021 Software Update in November

Now that we have entered November 2021, smartphone makers would be rolling out the latest software update to a series of devices. Google has already begun its process of rolling out the November 2021 software update to its Pixel devices. On the other hand, some companies are still living in the past, rolling out the October 2021 software update. Samsung is one such company.

It isn’t the first time, Samsung is doing such a thing. The company has examples when it rolled out older updates and patches to its devices. Anyways, it’s up to the company how it plans to roll out the updates.

After releasing the October 2021 software update to a series of devices in the previous month, Samsung is now rolling out the update to the Galaxy A72. The device is getting the update in a few markets. The one we’re talking about comes with firmware version A725FXXU4AUJ2.

This October 2021 software update also comes with the October 2021 security patch that fixes more than 60 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities. The update might also bring device stability improvements and general bug fixes.

According to reports, the rollout begins in Russia. Users of the Galaxy A72 in the country can manually check for the update by following the below steps:

Samsung Released the Galaxy A72 in March 2021. The device runs Android 11-based One UI 3.1 at the time of release. It has a remarkable 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display. It comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G (8 nm) along with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
