Samsung rolls out the Android 13 updates to Galaxy M22 in Europe

Samsung is busy rolling out the Android 13 updates to its various devices including the mid-range as well as flagship smartphones. Now, Samsung has started rolling out the Android 13 updates for another mid-range smartphone i.e., Galaxy M22.

Samsung introduced the Galaxy M22 in some markets in 2021. Galaxy M22 is a rebranded version of Galaxy A22. Both smartphones feature similar specifications as well as a design language. The Galaxy M22 was launched with Android 11-based One UI 3.1 software. As of now, the Galaxy M22 has begun receiving its second main Android OS update.

The Galaxy M22 with firmware version M225FVXXU4CVK3 is going to receive the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 updates in Europe. The update is accompanied by the October 2022 security patch. Thus, fixing several security vulnerabilities. The new software update is presently rolling out in Greece, Germany, Italy, Hungary, France, Spain, the UK, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.

If you are a Galaxy M22 user residing in any one of the regions mentioned above, you can download the Android 13 updates. Navigate to Settings of your device, and tap on Software Update. Click on Download and Install. Furthermore, you can also download the recent software update from the firmware database and flash it manually.

In mid of 2021, Samsung introduced the Galaxy M22 with Android 11. By the start of 2022, the Galaxy M22 [the mid-range smartphone] received the Android 12 One UI 4.1 updates. Just after eight months, the smartphone is going to receive Android 13 updates.
