Samsung Secured an Order for About 80 Million Display Units for Apple’s iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max

For quite some time, Samsung has been Apple’s main supplier for iPhone displays. The Korean company yet again won another huge order from Apple for about 80 million units. So, now we know the iPhone’s displays are massively equipped with Samsung’s technology. And to be more precise, the new iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will get Samsung’s 120Hz LTPO OLED panels.

According to the source, the fast and energy-efficient LPTO OLEDs will only make it to the high-end iPhone 13 models. On the other hand, LG and BOE will meet the rest of the demand for iPhone 13 and 13 mini OLED displays. LG Display is estimated to ship around 30 million units.

It is also good news for Samsung that the iPhone 12 family is not going anywhere soon, so the demand for Samsung display reaming high for those series as well. However, the company will be delivering the standard OLED panels. We expect that Samsung will ship nearly 120 million OLED screens by the end of this year for iPhone 12 series. In addition to this, LG Display will ship 50 million panels, and BOE will deliver the final 9 million.
