The South Korean tech company unveiled a new series of its premium tablets at the Unpacked event today. Besides the new tablet series, the company has introduced next-gen foldable smartphones as well as the Galaxy Watch 6 series.
Samsung introduces the Galaxy Tab S9 series tablets
In consistency with the previous year, the company has introduced three different variants of the new Galaxy Tab S9 series. The series comprises a base model, a plus model, and an ultra model. All three models are different based on their specs, sizes, and price tag.
The base model of Galaxy Tab S9
It features an 11-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display. In contrast to the Tab S9, the Tab S8 comes with an LCD display. It offers a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It comes in two different storage configurations i.e., 8GB of RAM/128GB of storage and 12GB of RAM/256GB storage. The storage is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. The base model is fueled by a battery of 8,400mAh. On the back, the tab features a 13MP camera whereas a 12MP ultrawide camera is provided on the front.
Features of the Galaxy Tab S9+
It features a large display as compared to the base model i.e., 12.4-inch. Moreover, it is powered by the same processor. The plus model comes in two different storage configurations but they are different from the base model i.e., 12GB/256GB configuration and a 12GB/512GB configuration. It accompanies a 10,090mAh battery. It features two cameras on the back that include a 13MP and an 8MP camera. while a 12MP ultrawide camera is provided on the front.
Ultra model
It is the most premium version of the Tab S9 series. Its display measures 14.6 inches. It is offered in three different RAM and storage configurations. These are 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB.
All three models of the Galaxy Tab S9 series are offered in two different colors i.e., Graphite or Beige. All three models feature under-display fingerprint scanners and S Pens in the box.
