Samsung will fix MultiStar’s Multi Focus bug with One UI 6.1
Beyond what the system settings provide, Samsung’s MultiStar application, a module for the company’s Good Lock app offers more functions pertaining to multi-window capability. The Multi Focus function is one of those. Generally speaking, one of the inactive apps may stop functioning when you utilize two or more at once. Multi Focus stops it from occurring. It maintains all open windows active even while you’re not using them. Unfortunately, One UI 6.0 caused this feature to stop functioning. We received an update on the situation as of today.
Samsung claims to be aware of the issue and that the One UI 6.1 update would address it (via @theonecid). When someone complained about the problem on Samsung’s community forum for Korea, the corporation acknowledged it and gave an update on the situation.
Samsung already provides the Galaxy S24 series with One UI 6.1. Therefore, we anticipate that certain devices won’t experience Multi Focus in MultiStar problems. It is anticipated that the business would launch the One UI 6.1 update by the end of January. Note that only the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series will have the AI features of One UI 6.1, which you see on the Galaxy S24 series.
