Save Tweets On Twitter Soon

Twitter is coming up with new exciting features one after another. Only last month the news came that Twitter is introducing 280 characters tweet, now twitter announced another feature called ‘Save for later’.

This feature is being introduced on huge public demand, so now users will be able to bookmark tweets, save them for a future read.

Twitter product manager Jesar Shah unveiled this feature informing that many users, especially in Japan want the feature on Twitter through which they can simply and privately save Tweets for later usage.

People used to retweet or send a message to themselves in order to save the tweet. Now via this feature, this whole procedure will become easier for the users.

Privacy will be maintained and an alternate option will be given to Twitter users to save the tweet. a new “Add to Bookmarks” button, along with the regular “Share via DM” option will pop up for the people.

When a user will save a tweet, a bar will appear along with a shortcut saying “View Bookmarks.” A new bookmark section will also appear on main app menu that will display all the saves.

At the moment Twitter is experimenting with the feature, it’s in initial stages and the social media app is looking for the response from the people as they show the designs and research on the feature. For feedback, the Twitter team is monitoring #SaveForLater hashtag.
