Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 might debut earlier than anticipated

Revegnus, a tipster shared that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 could arrive sooner than anticipated. According to this information, the new SoC could arrive in October, rather than November. The ancestor Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 was revealed in mid-November. Even the predecessor of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 was unveiled in mid-November.

In addition to this, the tipster also shared that MediaTek will unveil two more products. These will be the Dimensity 9200+ and the Dimensity 9300. Where Dimensity 9200+ is expected to arrive in May, while the Dimensity 9300 will be unveiled in late October alongside the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Reportedly, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and the Dimensity 9300 are expected to be 4nm chips. It is possible that the N4P 4nm node of TSMC will be used for the production of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

The predecessors of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 were wonderful chips

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 were exceptionally good processors. In contrast to the performance and power consumption of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 were quite better. Such improvements have raised the expectation level for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

As MediaTek has closed the gap (for the most part) with Qualcomm, its processors have advanced significantly over time. It will be fascinating to see how the Dimensity 9300 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 turns out.
