Sony introduces Project Q: a game-steaming handheld

Just recently, Sony has introduced a new handheld streaming device. Using this new device, users will be able to play games over the internet. The new device is a Remote Play. It is named Project Q by the company.

Features of Project Q

Project Q features an 8-inch LCD screen. The screen is provided with 1080p resolution. It offers a refresh rate of 60Hz. There is a DualSense controller that is attached to the screen. It is provided with similar buttons and features as the one presented on the PS5 controller. However, it doesn’t include a touchpad. It is expected that the touchpad will be incorporated into the touchscreen.

In addition to this, the company states that Project Q can only stream PS5 games downloaded on the system. By this statement, we get an understanding that the device won’t support native gaming or cloud gaming services. However, this might change with the official launch of the device. The company has not shared any details about the price of the Project Q. However, the company has unveiled that Project Q will arrive on the market later this year.

Furthermore, in addition to the new Project Q, the company has also introduced new PlayStation official wireless earbuds. The new earbuds by Sony are provided with new wireless technology that is developed by the company. It is reported to provide lossless audio and low latency over Bluetooth.
