Sony Working on a New Xperia With Snapdragon 710 Chipset

Sony has already introduced its Xperia 1, Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus at the MWC 2019, the phones offer 21:9 screen-to-body ratio, but according to the latest reports from Japan, Sony is also working on a new device other than Xperia 1, 10 and 10 Plus which offers the same 21:9 ratio.

According to the Japanese source, Sony will also launch a new Xperia model this year probably in the middle, this model would be a custom model for Japanese carrier NTT Docomo.

Sony to launch foldable smartphone with transparent displays

According to the details the new Sony Xperia model features 5.7-inch screen with 21:9 ratio along with 2520×1080 pixels of resolution. The upcoming Xperia is equipped with Snapdragon 710 SoC along with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

Additionally, the phone is 149.5x65x9.4mm in dimensions, it would also be available in four colors including black, silver, red and purple.

The battery capacity is 2800mAh which might be a problem for some users as even 3000mAh batteries are being dumped now because of the time it offers to users. However, Nokia might have other factors in play which might reduce the battery consumption. Another, addition is the efface of 3.5mm headphone jack in this phone, which is currently adopted in Xperia 1 only, there are not much details about the appearance of this smartphone as yet, however, we might see some leaked renders coming up soon.
