Steam Releases Steam Replay 2022 Personal Year in Review

At the end of the year, Valve is providing all PC gamers with a user account on the Steam platform with their own personal review of the last twelve months. This reveals what, when, or how often we played.

Personal review for Steam users

Valve is offering the Steam Replay for the first time this year. This can be found both on the homepage of the online shop and by clicking on this link. The new feature was advertised with a funny video and now gives users a very interesting insight into their own gaming behavior.

Among other things, the page shows which games have been played this year or have only just started. The review also shows the personal highlights, i.e. games that were started particularly often or for a long time. Information such as the number of achievements collected, games played or the longest gaming series can also be compared with the average values of the Steam community.

Also interesting: The review also reveals which genres and input methods were preferred and whether current games or classics were played. By default, the review is of course only accessible privately for each user. If you want, you can share it in the activities of Steam friends or via Facebook, Twitter and Reddit.

More annual reviews

Of course, Steam is not the only provider that offers its users such a review of the past year: Sony launched the PlayStation review two weeks ago and Nintendo also offers Switch players such a feature. Music fans can also look back on 2022 with Spotify and YouTube Music (both in the app), for example.

Tip: If you want to stock up on your library for the next Steam Replay, you can still buy many games and DLCs at reduced prices in the Steam Winter Sale until January 5, 2023.
