TAG Heuer’s most expensive watch with 589 diamonds on it
The previous most expensive watch by Tag Heuer was Connected Modular 45 launched last year, with Android Wear functionality.
Now Tag Heuer has announced its Connected Modular 41 Android Wear watch which becomes the most expensive watch of TAG Heuer. The watch is full diamond version and plated with white gold, the watch features the total of 589 diamonds along its dial and strap.
The device also has interchangeable lugs and bands. However, Tag Heuer has not confirmed the specs yet but the previous model had 1.39-inch 400X400 display which is likely to be the same on this model.
As the watch carries Android wear functionality it has the 512MB of RAM and 4G of storage, the watch is also equipped with GPS, Android Pay, and NFC functionalities. It is fully water resistant up to 50 meters of water.
The sitting diamonds on the watch are the real eye-catchers; there are 78 VVS baguette size diamonds around the dial and 16 more inside the lugs. On the bracelet there are total 495 diamonds—The total weight diamonds carry is 23.35 carats.
The watch will also bring its little sister with it if you buy, a Calibre 5 Mechanical watch module can also be connected to the straps for a change. The Calibre 5 Mechanical watch also features expensive gemstones but it doesn’t run Android Wear.
When the watch is launched it will carry the price tag of $180,000. The watch wouldn’t have a wide release because of the price, and then this watch will only sit on the wrists of insanely rich people.
