The 200MP Camera Sensor by Samsung is gaining popularity

The world’s first 200MP camera sensor was introduced by Samsung last year. Slowly and gradually, it is gaining popularity in the market. Honor 80 Series is the next smartphone that will feature a 200MP camera sensor.

Honor 80 Pro+ is the upcoming flagship smartphone set to feature the ISOCELLL HP1 200MP camera sensor. No further information on additional camera sensors is yet available. It is expected to have an ultrawide camera with 50MP along with a telephoto camera with OIS. Various other features of the new series include stereo speakers, an 8 Gen 1 processor, an in-display fingerprint reader, 12GB of RAM, and super-fast charging with 100W.

Motorola X30 Pro first used the ISOCELL HP1 200MP camera sensor by Samsung. Later the smartphone was rebranded for the international market. It was then sold as Moto Edge 30 Ultra. Additionally, the camera sensor by Samsung has also been launched by Xiaomi as a 12T Pro. Similarly, Infinix has also revealed its leading smartphone is equipped with a 200MP camera sensor.

Samsung aims to introduce more sensitive camera sensors in the future. It is working on designing a 600MP camera sensor that can surpass the abilities of the human eye. But probably such a camera sensor might not be used for smartphones. Instead, connected and autonomous vehicles could be the target for such camera sensors.
