The iPhone 15’s A17 processor can run at 3.7GHz

At such speed, it will work as a fast processor. This attribute gives Apple the upper hand over Qualcomm, Samsung, and MediaTek. In addition to this, the chipset will feature support for 6GB of RAM.
The A17 chipset is going to be the first chipset for the iPhone made on a 3nm process. Reportedly, it will feature a 10-15% boost in performance. Besides this, the reports indicate that this chipset will reduce power consumption by up to 30%. Overall, the performance of the iPhone 15 series will be improved.

According to rumors, the iPhone 15 series will debut on September 12. The Pro models might be unveiled a few weeks later. For this reason, the iPhone 15 series will ship in October.
