Reportedly, the new feature will substitute the Dynamic Island found on the iPhone 15 series. The Dynamic Island feature was debuted by Apple originally with the iPhone 14 series. According to the tipster, the company has not yet decided whether to adopt this approach for the Pro model or not.
According to the report, Apple is testing a punch-hole display on the iPhone 16 Pro, but the iPhone 17 will probably be the first to sport one. This suggests that Dynamic Island-equipped displays may still be used in the iPhone 16 Pro. The leaked images indicate that the cutout is quite larger than the one found on several Android phones. Well, it could be due to the Face ID hardware that is added in addition to the camera.
