The iQOO Neo9 series will be official on December 27

Just recently, we came across the official announcement by iQOO regarding the iQOO Neo9 series. The company took to Weibo to announce the launch date of the upcoming series. Reportedly, the Neo9 series will be official on December 27. The series comprises two members, including the iQOO Neo9 and the iQOO Neo9 Pro.

Reportedly, the iQOO Neo9 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, whereas the iQOO Neo9 Pro features the Dimensity 9300 chipset. Similar to the iQOO 12 Pro, both smartphones will feature a dedicated Q1 chip for e-sports. It is a display driver chip that supports the gaming engine. It has been specially designed by Vivo. The chip trains itself automatically on the information about the most-played games and eventually, it strives to provide a 144Hz refresh rate and a quick start. Interestingly, the feature only supports 135 games and is restricted to China.

Reportedly, the official teaser indicates that the smartphones will come in three different colors, including plain black, plain blue, and a dual-color option. Both devices will feature Neo writing and the two-camera design under the lenses. Besides the new smartphone series, the company will unveil the wireless earphones iQOO TWS 1e and iQOO Watch. Both of these devices are basically Vivo products (the Vivo TWS 3e and Vivo Watch 3) that have been rebranded.

Some previous leaks indicate that the smartphone will come in four different memory configurations, including the 12/256 GB, 16/256 GB, 16/512 GB, and 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage variants. It is just a few more days before the official launch so we can expect to learn more about these smartphones in the coming days.
