Prime Video relies on diversity in August
The monthly highlight for serial fans is likely to be the season 4 of Upload, which starts on August 25th. The final season of the sci-fi comedy of Greg Daniels consists of only four episodes and talks about the fight against an outdated AI, the Lakeview and the world threatens to destroy. Twisted Metal returns with more action
Action fans can look forward to Twisted Metal Season 2, which starts on August 15 at Prime Video Germany. The post-apocalyptic series with Anthony Mackie leads John Doe and Quiet to the deadly Twisted Metal tournament, where they have to compete against new and old opponents-including the murderous clown sweet tooth and John’s long-lost sister Dollface. The first season of the video game adaptation was a surprising success. At the original, the spy thriller series Butterfly starts in the leading role on August 13 with Daniel Dae Kim. The former Lost star plays an enigmatic ex-secret service employee who is obtained from his past. The action comedy The Pickup, on the other hand, brings together Eddie Murphy and Pete Davidson on August 6th-a combination of two comedy generations.
Romance and German productions
On August 20, the film will find a bestseller film with Madelnn Cline and KJ APA about a fateful encounter on a European trip. The documentary Gzuz – Licht & Shadow gives an unadorned insight into the life of the Hamburg rapper between road past and new beginning on August 1st.
