The next-gen foldable phone by HONOR will come in two variants

Some solid evidence reveals that Honor will introduce its next-gen foldable smartphone in two different variants. Reportedly, the smartphones were spotted on the MIIT certification website. Two smartphones from HONOR with model numbers VER-AN10 and VER-AN00 receive the certification. Notably, the model number VER-AN10 was also spotted on 3C certification with 66W charging.

According to the tipster WHY LAB, one of the smartphones is the Magic V2. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Well, the other smartphone is also the Magic V2 but it will be a different variant. It might be labeled as the ‘HONOR Magic V2 Supreme Edition’. If we compare these foldable smartphones with previous foldable from the company, then we come to know that the HONOR Magic Vs also had a special variant termed as the ‘HONOR Magic Vs Ultimate Edition’. That model had slight differences from the regular one.

As per the information, the HONOR Magic V2 Supreme Edition will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It will utilize the latest chip offering from Qualcomm. On the other hand, the standard model will be powered y the same processor as the Magic Vs.

For the display, the HONOR Magic V2 will feature a QHD+ LTPO display, for its main display. Whereas, the cover panel will possibly be a fullHD+ unit. It also includes a 5,000mAh battery with support for 66W wired, and 50W wireless charging. Do notice that wireless charging was not offered by the HONOR Magic V and Vs. Both variants might include a charger in the box.

The thickness and weight of these foldable will be similar to the Huawei Mate X3

The upcoming smartphone is anticipated to be slim and light in contrast to the Magic Vs.
