The premium subscribers of Spotify crossed the 200 million mark

Spotify is one of the best-known apps in the music streaming industry. with time more and more consumers are going for the premium streaming plans of the app. Recently, the music streaming app crossed 200 million subscribers with its premium subscription plan.

Although most of the users are attracted to the app for Music. But music is not all that the app offers. It offers podcasts, audiobooks, and various shows that keep users connected and entertained. However, do note that the numbers relate to the premium subscribers and the worldwide active users of the music streaming service. Besides the paid plans, the app offers free services with ads-support to users.

In 2022, the Music streaming app Spotify crossed 195 million premium subscribers. The company planned to achieve the target of 200 million premium subscribers. But unfortunately, it could not be done then. However, that didn’t impact the growth of Spotify. Recently, the target of 200 million subscribers was achieved. As of now, the platform has around 205 million premium subscribers. This is a huge achievement as more users are attracted to the premium plans.

With the premium subscription, several benefits are associated. One is ad-free streaming. Also, the users can download songs and access them offline. The company has offered several plans and options with subscriptions. On the other hand, the platform offers users a plan that is compatible across all the users’ devices.

With time, the company is enriching its service with new features. The platform is achieving more and more active users with every passing day.  As of now, Spotify has over 489 million active users worldwide. Well, the company still has a long way to go in order to stay in the competition.
