The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 lacks a feature that the Dimensity 9300 has

Qualcomm and MediaTek are competitors. However, Qualcomm is known for high-performance chipsets, while MediaTek lacks this attribute. For years, the company has struggled with low-performance issues; however, the fate of the company entirely changed recently with the Dimensity chipsets. In accordance with a fresh piece of information provided by WCCFtech, the first mobile chipset to feature LPDDR5T RAM will be the Dimensity 9300.

MediaTek has made quite some improvements with the Dimensity line of chipsets. Currently, one of the most powerful MT chips is the Dimensity 9200. It is considered to be at the level of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Several Android OEMs like Oppo, Vivo, and Xiaomi have used it in their products like the Oppo Find X6, Vivo X90 5G, and the Xiaomi 13T.

The Dimensity 9300 features support for LPDDR5T RAM

Due to a lack of knowledge, most users are concerned with the GBs presented with RAM instead of numbers. There are several other attributes that should be considered while looking for RAM storage. For years, the amount, as well as the quality of RAM have improved.

As of now, MediaTek is going to introduce a new standard of RAM with its upcoming chipset. In contrast to the previous LPDDR5X RAM standard, the Dimensity 9300 will feature LPDDR5T RAM in its chips. Reportedly, it will feature faster throughput speeds. In simple words, throughput refers to the rate of data transfer by a chip.

LPDDR5T RAM has a peak speed of roughly 9.6 Gbps, compared to 8.5 Gbps for LPDDR5X RAM. It is a 12 percent increase. Do note that the difference might not be quite obvious when it comes to daily usage, however, the figures are good on paper. Slowly, MediaTek is abandoning its image as a budget chip manufacturer.

Currently, several devices with great performance factors, like the Lenovo Tab Extreme and the OnePlus Pad, feature the Dimensity 9000. On the other hand, Tecno has utilized the Dimensity 8050 in its Tecno Camon 20 Premier. The introduction of the new RAM standard is a sign that the company is looking for some great endeavors.
