Time Warner Collaborates With Snapchat To Develop Original Shows

Time Warner and Snap.Inc have announced their collaboration to create original shows for social media App Snapchat for the next couple of years. They have signed an agreement regarding this deal.

The financial terms of the deal remain hidden except sources reveal that the deal is worth $100 million.
HBO, Turner and Warner Bros would advertise Snapchat App as part of the deal. The television channels are diverting their attention to online and mobile apps, to grab more attention of users and to divert use their resources at the right place.

The aim of Time Warner is to release three shows per day till the end of 2017. At the moment Snapchat release one show each day which is of three to five minutes.
There had been talks of integrating television with social media for quite some time now. Snapchat was in talks with NBC, ESPN, BBC and Discovery channels. Now this agreement and contract with Time Warner is with the hope to attract more audience.

This is the new era, new form of entertainment and future of television shows. Combing television with social media would bring a fresh breath of air in the entertainment industry.
