Truecaller’s New Feature Could Now Record Phone Calls

The much-awaited feature of the app—Truecaller has finally launched—which is the ability to record the calls. With this new update, users could now record both the incoming and outgoing calls. This feature is only launched for the Android users yet.

Truecaller is an all-in-one application for messages or for making calls, however, majorly it can tell people the name of the person calling from an unknown number.

Whenever someone makes anonymous calls on your phone Truecaller would show their name and location (provided that the information is saved on the app’s servers). The app could also help in filtering out the blacklisted spam calls and allows you to block anyone’s number as well.

The new feature would be prompted to you whenever you will make a call, the prompt would ask whether you want to record the call or not. If the YES button is pressed that would mean that the call would be recorded and would be saved in the internal storage.

Unluckily, the feature is just only available for the premium version of the application. The non-premium users could also use the feature on trial basis for fourteen days.

Keeping in mind that there are a lot many other applications that are already providing this feature for free, it would be a tedious task for the Truecaller for selling this feature to its users. Definitely, you would have an all-in-one app solution with a better UI that would not have ads or would not be laggy. But, it all comes down to whether or not a user is willing to pay for the quality service or just want a free ride.

The premium versions also permit users to know who viewed their profile on Truecaller. They would also have a premium badge over their Truecaller ID for showing off, would get contacts requests and as mentioned earlier would also have an ad-free experience.

One could upgrade to the premium package for Pakistani rupees one hundred and six or rupees nine hundred for a yearly subscription.
