Twitter allowed its users to report bots or fake account

To make Twitter more secure and safe for its users, the social media giant had allowed its users to report a tweet that they think might be spreading by a bot or a fake twitter account which is using anyone else’s name.

The newly launched feature by the Twitter allowed its users to click and choose the ‘it’s suspicious or spam’ option under the report menu. While reporting the specific tweet to the Twitter you can explain what you think about that.

It will also give you an option which says ‘the account tweeting this is fake’.

Twitter had made this statement on Wednesday through a tweet.

However, Twitter didn’t clear the process of the reporting fake twitter account or bot. It is not that cleared if marking the account as a fake account will increase the account’s likelihood of getting deactivated by twitter or not.

As per the reports by PTV, a fake account using the name of the religious affairs minister was reported on Wednesday. Noorul Qadri, the Minister for religious affairs clarified that the account using his name doesn’t belong to me or any other individual working in the ministry.
