Twitter has announced a paid version of the app. It is basically a subscription, namely Twitter Blue, and will cost $2.99 per month. The company will soon make it available for all.
Previously, we heard from a tipster, Jane Manchun Wong, that Twitter was working on a paid version of the app. She highlighted that this feature would let users save and organize favorite tweets into a group to access them easily in the future. In fact, she said precisely everything the company just announced. And now the company has confirmed this feature.
Today, the tipster shares another insight on the upcoming feature – Reader Mode. This mode will allow users to “Keep up with threads by turning them into easy-to-read-text.”
As of now, we are not sure when Twitter will actually launch the Twitter Blue and other updates. But we expect it to come soon after the company’s own announcement.
