Twitter not to suspend Pakistani accounts for raising voice for Kashmir

The government of Pakistan and the administration of Twitter have reached an agreement over the issue of the suspension of the twitter accounts of Pakistanis over raising the voice for the innocent people of Indian-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The agreement between Pakistan and Twitter administration will make an end to the monopoly of the Indian government on the social media platform as the company agreed for not unilaterally suspending or termination of the people of Pakistan in the future.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Information Technology Board (NITB) and the high-level officials of Twitter held talks over the issue as several twitter accounts of Pakistanis were suspended for raising voice against the Indian move to revoke Article 370 of its constitution.

The meeting between the CEO of NITB and the higher officials of the social media giants was held in the United States which led to the agreement between both parties that ended the unilateral blockage of twitter accounts.

A large number of the Twitter accounts of the Pakistani users were suspended by the administration of the social media platform just after the people of Pakistan expressed their solidarity with the innocent people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir living under the curfew and media communication blackout.

According to the details of the agreement, the administration of Twitter will contact the government of Pakistan in case of any complaint instead of immediately suspending the accounts.
