The Twitter staff across the world have been directed to work from home starting Monday in an effort to curb the spread of the deadly new coronavirus.
The virus has spread across the world after it once emerged in central China last year, taking the lives of more than 3,100 people, and infecting more than 90,000 and issuing a wave of travel bars.

The decision of the social media platform to ask its staff from avoiding office came after same kind of requests were made by the governments in virus hotspots.
Jennifer Christie the Chief of Twitter Human Resources said in a blog post that they are strongly boosting all the employees across the globe to work from home if they could.
She also said that their objective is to lower the probability of the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus for them and for the world around them.
Christie said that working from home would be a must for the employees at the South Korea, Japan and Hong Kong firms.
Twitter has already suspended the non-critical business travel and events last week.
