Twitter users can now appeal for restoring their suspended accounts

Since Twitter was taken over by Elon Musk, this is the very first time that the company is providing an opportunity for public appeal. Twitter is allowing its users to appeal the suspension of their accounts.

Elon musk After he took over, he took the opportunity to bring back all the suspended accounts. Suspended accounts such as Donald Trump, Jordan Peterson, and Andrew Tate were reinstated. Twitter is providing this opportunity to bring more public accounts back to the platform through appeals.

As per information, this appeal can be made through a request form that is accessible by those who can login to their locked or suspended accounts.

Earlier, before Musk took over, a campaign or a number of accounts that were involved in trolling were suspended from the platform. There are also numerous other accounts that have been suspended due to spam or tweets that violate the rules. Twitter has implemented a new policy that softens the penalties for accounts that violate the rules.

In the future, Twitter said, “We will take less harsh steps, such as requiring you to delete Tweets before you may use your account again or limiting the reach of policy-violating Tweets.” According to the new policy, the most severe sanction available to accounts that consistently breach Twitter standards is still account suspension. The business anticipates a “large volume” of requests.

The platform has also indicated a new set of rules under which applications will be evaluated. However, it is unknown to us yet what these terms are and how much time it will take to proceed with these applications.

The platform is now returning to more normal conditions after being in a state of chaos for quite some time. Twitter was recently updated with the latest timeline feature, and a change in font is also soon to be introduced on the platform. This feature of CoTweet is eliminated with the new update. This feature was introduced in July 2022 and was able to make the author anonymous. This feature worked the same way as the Collab post on Instagram.
