Twitterati Mourn the Death of Stephen Hawking

Twitterati mourns the death of famous British physicist and author Stephen Hawking. He has left the world at the age of 76.

Let us see some of the posts on Twitter of people remembering the greatness and sheer intellect of the man.

Geraldine says “We were on earth at the same time as Stephen Hawking. That’s kind of a miraculous thing. We breathed the same air as the man who demystified the stars.”

Neil deGrasse Tyson says, “His passing has left an intellectual vacuum in his wake. But it’s not empty. Think of it as a kind of vacuum energy permeating the fabric of spacetime that defies measure. Stephen Hawking, RIP 1942-2018.”

Iseunife the first said, “Stephen Hawking’s first appearance on Big Bang Theory. This man will forever be remembered as one of the greatest humans to live on this planet.”

NASA wrote on Twitter, “Remembering Stephen Hawking, a renowned physicist and ambassador of science. His theories unlocked a universe of possibilities that we & the world are exploring. May you keep flying like superman in microgravity, as you said to astronauts on in 2014″

Caroline Lucas says, “Remember to look up at the stars & not down at your feet.Try to make sense of what you see & wonder about what makes the universe exist. However difficult life may seem there is always something you can do & succeed at. It matters that you don’t just give up.”RIP Stephen Hawking”

Interesting: Twitter launches a new feature called Threads

Jonathan Bartley tweeted, ” We only have one planet & we need to work together to protect it. We need to break down, not build up, barriers within and between nations. With resources increasingly concentrated in the hands of a few, we are going to have to learn to share far more” – Stephen Hawking

Barrington Mole wrote, ” I regard the brain as a computer which will stop working when its components fail. There is no heaven or afterlife for broken down computers; that is a fairy story for people afraid of the dark” – Stephen Hawking

We can not summarize the achievements of Stephen Hawking but it is pertinent to mention here Hawkings thesis is the most requested document at the Cambridge Library, as detailed by library staff of the college. And this is just a page in his book of success.
