Uber Joins HBL PSL as Official Transport Partner

The ride-hailing service providers—Uber has joined HBL PSL as the official transport partner of the series.

Uber the global smartphone application that connects the riders to drivers in more than six hundred countries is all set to become partners with Habib Bank Limited for the upcoming event Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018 after signing a partnership agreement with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

The agreement signifies the brand’s commitment to enter the cricket arena for further assistance in the upcoming third edition of the most famous Pakistan Super League. Uber gets to become the official transport partner for HBL PSL 2018.

A signing ceremony was arranged between Uber Pakistan and Trans Group—the sports agency having rights to cricket in Pakistan and internationally.

Safee Shah—the General Manager Uber Pakistan said while speaking about this partnership that Uber is super excited to become partners in the third edition of the HBL PSL 2018. He added that they are humbled to be a part of the tenure of bringing cricket back to home. He further added that they would ensure that safe, reliable and convenient rides are provided to the ones going to watch the match and hope that an amazing overall experience is provided to the fans.

Shoaib Sheikh—SGM—PCB said that HBL PSL is one big platform for the brands to promote themselves, and he added that he is happy to see that Uber is super keen on assisting the tournament and the journey of Pakistan team. He added that they are happy to make Uber the official transport partner for the event for facilitating the fans an incomparable viewing experience.

Uber other than just providing safe transportation to its riders across the seven cities of Pakistan is also involved in using its platform for supporting the community at large. It is a responsible corporate firm and believes in returning to the community with every opportunity that it finds.

Presently more than thousands of drivers are associated with Uber and acting on a part time basis and the number is ever increasing on per month basis.
