Ulefone introduces a 10.1-inch Android tablet: Tab A8

Ulefone company has come forward with another amazing product. It is not a smartphone. Rather the company has introduced a new Android tablet i.e., Tab A8. Reportedly, it is a 10.1-inch Android tablet. However, do note that this is an entry-level device. As per the company, the new tablet is quite good for casual use and light productivity tasks.

When it comes to the design of the new tablet, we come to know that the design is quite good. Although the bezels are not as thin as they should be on a high-end device. But they have enough space for grip. All the sides of the tablet are flat. The rear is provided with a single camera. at the bottom of the device, a USB Type-C port is visible. The interesting feature over here is that the USB-C port is provided with POGO pins. It also accompanies an audio jack.

Some other feature specifications of the tablet are as follows:

  • powered by MediaTek MT6762V/WB processor [a 12nm octa-core chip]
  • 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage (up to 256GB via a microSD card)

  • a 5-megapixel camera (1.12um pixel size, 4P lens, 76-degree FoV, f/2.2 aperture) included on the back
  • a quad-speaker setup
  • facial scanning via the front-facing camera
  • no fingerprint scanner
  • two SIM card slots
  • 4G connectivity support
  • 6,580mAh battery with 10W charging
  • Bluetooth 5.0
  • Based on Android 12
  • Measures  238.7 x 157.5 x 7.35mm
  • weighs 483 grams

The tablet by Ulefone is available in one color option i.e., gray. As of now, no official information has been shared regarding the price of the device. Maybe the company will announce it soon.
