Ulefone introduces Power Armor 19T with a thermal sensor

The company Ulefone has debuted a new rugged smartphone. It is the Ulefone Power Armor 19T. According to the reports, the device is certified for IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810H. besides this, the smartphone is accompanied by a thermal camera.

The certifications indicate that the smartphone can bear a 1.5m drop on a hard surface. Furthermore, the device can survive underwater to a depth of 1.5m for up to 30 minutes. When it comes to the thermal camera, the device is equipped with the FLIR Lepton 3.5 thermal imaging sensor. It is a similar sensor that has been utilized with the Power Armor 18T.

The display of smartphones is quite rugged. It is built like a tank. It features a waterdrop display notch. The back panel features an interesting pattern. Where the camera island resides in the top-left corner. Moreover, the smartphone accompanies a 6-pin accessory port [uSmart Connector]. It can be used to connect an endoscope and even a microscope.

The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. It consists of 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The display of the device measures 6.58 inches with a glove-capable fullHD+ IPS LCD. The device has support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is protected by Gorilla Glass. However, the version of the gorilla glass is unknown at the moment.

In addition to this, the smartphone holds a huge 9,600mAh battery that supports  66W fast wired charging. The smartphone consists of a 108MP main camera, a 5MP super micro camera, and a 5MP auxiliary thermal camera. A 16MP front camera is also included.

The smartphone features a side-facing fingerprint scanner, audio jack, headphone-free radio, Bluetooth 5.2, and two SIM card slots. The device comes with Android 12. The device will be available for purchase from March 20 onwards. The global version is priced at $384.99. Whereas the Brazilian version is available for $404.99.
