University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar is organizing a mega event for civil engineers. The event would bring new job opportunities for the passing out graduates and would do more.

The mega event by the civil engineering department of University of Engineering and Technology would start on May 10 and is a 3-day event ending on May 12.

The big functions of the event would include:

  • Job fair
  • Tower building competition
  • Bridge building competition
  • Seminar on earthquake engineering

This mega event by UET Peshawar would help the young engineers find new jobs. And the competitions would create new opportunities for the rising civil engineering students.

UET Peshawar is mostly renowned for its largest Earthquake Engineering Center. This center is also the second largest of the continent. This comparatively new department is making new ways to help avoid/stop destructions or damages caused by earthquakes in Pakistan.
