According to WhatsApp Beta Information offical, WhatsApp is considering releasing an update regarding sent text messages, this update would allow users to unsend the messages and remove them from chat screen.
However, the release date is not confirmed yet, but it is expected to be soon after IOS releases latest update. Earlier this year, WhatApp started testing recall feature on its beta version.
WhatsApp not yet confirmed that after the release of this update, the unsend option will also work on the texts which are already been sent and saved in the chat screens.
