Users can now conveniently share items with the Android 14 update
The tech giant Google is busy with Android 14. Reportedly, the company has added several new features to the upcoming version of Android. Besides this, the company is continuously working to improve the current features with its beta releases. As per recent pieces of information from 9to5Google, the company has included a new feature to the operating system.
Users always find convenient and efficient ways while sharing items across mobile devices. It is always good to have more than one possible option for sharing a particular file. Something similar has been done by Google from this perspective. With the past two beta updates of Android 14, the company has introduced major changes to the share sheet. It is the menu that appears when the share button is clicked.
With Android 13, the tech giant Google provided four options with the Share menu. However, the company has increased the number to five with the Android 14 Beta 3. In this way, users were presented with more options on a single page. The Android 14 Beta 4 update include the details of the specifications and functionalities of each of the option presented on the Share menu. For instance, the OS will inform the user as well as show the preview if a user copies a URL from a web browser and share it. Such advancements make sharing simple, easier, and faster.
The South Korean conglomerate will soon begin rolling out the Android 14 (One UI 6.0) updates to its Galaxy smartphones. One thing to notice here is that the company will roll out the updates in the beta version. It means that users enrolled in the beta program will have access to them. In addition to this, the company will begin rolling out the updates from the high-end smartphones first and others will follow. It is anticipated that the company will distribute Android 14 to all its devices by the end of this year.
